Cincinnati Aquatic Training Services (CATS) is committed to providing a wide array of American Red Cross training courses for the swimming pool management industry. Our certified Red Cross Instructors have over 200 years combined in aquatic safety instruction experience. CATS is an authorized American Red Cross Provider, setting the standard for Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Training in the Greater Cincinnati area.

lifeguard instructor training
This class is for students who want to become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard instructor. This class will prepare an individual to teach lifeguarding at any aquatic facility. Students will learn the skills necessary to organize and teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding.
Water safety instructor (WSI) training
This class is for students who want to become an American Red Cross certified water safety instructor. This class will prepare an individual to teach swimming lessons and water safety at any aquatic facility. Students will learn the skills necessary to organize and teach the American Red Cross swim lesson programs.
lifeguard instructor recertification
The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Recertification course is to give instructors the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills within a formal course setting to maintain their American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification.
