This class will prepare an individual to become an integral part of an aquatic facility. Students will learn the skills necessary to become a professional Lifeguard. Students must turn 15 years old by the last date of the lifeguarding class. Students must also pass the prescreening lifeguarding requirements to participate in this class. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED which is valid for 2 years from the course completion date.  Some of the classes offered are Blended Learning classes. Blended Learning Lifeguard Training combines online learning with in person skills sessions. The online portion will require: assignments, end of chapter review questions and reading the lifeguard manual. The E-Learning portion will take a minimum of 7 hours out of the classroom and the remaining 20 hours will be spent in person completing water skills, CPR/AED & First Aid skills and finally successful completion of all skills testing.
